What Is All the Hype with Apple 2020?

As you may know, Apple announced the release of its new updates Apple iOS14, its biggest update launch ever! This all happened on the 17th of September 2020, and it has taken the world by storm. This was all introduced at their famous virtual event called “Time Flies” which focused surprisingly not on the release of a new iPhone model!

We have all come to expect the launch of a new iPhone in the month of September, but as we have also come to understand with Apple, there is always a surprise in there somewhere. This year however, they have caught us all unawares, and have launched the new iOS 14, with some major improvements and additions, and have focused their September debacle on the release of the new Apple Watch Series 6 and the iPad Air.

The “Time Flies” even took a little more than one hour, through which the following important announcements were made:

The Apple Watch Series 6 & SE

The Apple watch series 6 has a new health featured added – it can measure your blood oxygen levels! It does this with a brand new dual-core S6 chip that is based on the A13 Bionic found in the iPhone 11. It also features a much brighter screen outdoors to allow for better viewing and comes in a variety of colours. With a new optional stretchable and clasp free silicone strap that comes in different sizes, this watch now goes for $399.

They also offer the new Apple Watch SE, which is basically the same as the series 6, but works with last years S5 chip and now comes at a cheaper price of $379. With the new family function, you can pair up multiple watches with a single iPhone.

At the event Apple introduced its redesigned Apple 0.9-Inch iPad Air. For the techies, this iPad runs on the 5nm-based, six-core A14 Bionic chip that provides up to 40% faster performance and 30% faster graphics than last year’s model. It also features and novel Touch ID function incorporated into the Power Button. It comes with a fully laminated 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with True Tone, P3 wide color support, and an anti-reflective coating, just in case you were wondering!
